History and National Security Policy Wonk
My background: I was born overseas, but grew up in sunny San Diego. I attended UC Berkeley where I earned my BA in History and Political Science. After graduating, I moved to Washington, D.C. to pursue a career in national security. As part of that career path, I am attending Georgetown University to gain an M.A. in Security Studies.
My research interests: U.S. foreign policy, national security, geopolitics, military history, and the development and evolution of political institutions.
My hobbies: I love to read (mainly history, classics, sci-fi, and philosophy), watch anime and classic movies, lift weights, and travel whenever I can.
My goals for writing in The Comment Chamber: I aim to explore the transition from a U.S.-led unipolar world to a more multipolar world and all its attendant effects. Domestically, I am interested in viewing how U.S. citizens are forming their identity, what priorities they are setting, and how those priorities are pursued through political and civic institutions.
