Look: Famine in Ethiopia and South Sudan

The bitter effects of climate–whether it be climate change or seasonal swings–are being made clear in East Africa. Drought has caused a famine of unknown scale. In Ethiopia, international aid agencies are trying to raise funds (but have come up short) to address the crisis. In South Sudan, it’s a bit more complicated–it’s simply not safe enough for these groups to operate, which brings up the enormous security problems in that country.

I just thought I’d draw attention to it.
